How it Works

This year Connected for Learning is challenging all teachers in what we are calling the "12 Da as gospel. ys of Christmas Challenge". I know the title isn't very original, but the learning will be worth it. It works like this: Each day, starting December 3rd, C4L will post a new challenge. Complete the challenge and fill out the form linked at the bottom of each challenge. For every three challenges you complete you get one hour of professional development. If you complete all 12 days by January 15 (giving you plenty of time) you will get a bonus fifth hour of PD and a badge to put on your door/board so you can brag to all the poor souls that didn't complete these monumental tasks. I'm kidding about the bragging part...sort of. The focus of this year's challenge is "Urban Myths of Learning Theories". Each of the challenges will present you with a learning theory that we learned in our years of teaching and some of us treatYou will examine what the research has to say about the theory and decide: is it a sound theory, unproven, or completely bogus? You will then explain what your new revelation means for teachers and how they teach. Good Luck and Happy Holidays from Connected for Learning and the Chrome Squad.
