The purpose of the Chrome Crew is to provide outstanding customer service to Ouida Bailey Middle School and the community.

Mission

The Chrome Crew handles very similar tasks as their older counterparts. The Chrome Crew coordinates the 1:1 technology initiative at OBMS. Roles include inventory, repair, tech tips and professional development production for staff.

Heather Russell

Innovative Learning Specialist

Heather is starting her 21st year in education and seventh year as the Innovative Learning Specialist at Ouida Baley Middle School. She previously worked as an Instructional Technology Specialist, taught Gifted and Talented, and 1st Grade. In her role as the ILS, she oversees the Chrome Crew, manages the Chromebook inventory and provides professional development for the faculty. Heather enjoys spending time with her husband, Ben, and their 2 girls: Lily and Laney, and her dog best friend, Mali.  She loves traveling, hiking, puzzling, reading, and shopping. She feels like she has the best job in the world because she gets to serve teachers while motivating future leaders in her class. 

Chatham

Trainer

Chatham Is an 8th grader at Ouida Baley Middle School. He loves sports and physical activity. He is in NJHS and loves to lend a helping hand. Even though he is almost always tired because of sports, he is an extrovert and will always try to strike up a conversation.

Jacob

Technition

Jacob is an 8th grader at OBMS. He is a technician and he loves to play sports and loves to spend  with his family.  He likes  to do outside activities and likes  to build, and fix  stuff he is really kind and will always try his best. 

Hannah

Public Relations

Hannah is an 8th grader at OBMS. She is on the Public Relations team and loves to design posters.  She loves art and sports. She’s on the cheer team and volleyball. Outside of school she does club volleyball and goes to church to help out with kids. She loves to travel, go swimming, fish, and paint. 

Xavier

Trainer

Xavier is an 8th grader at OBMS. It is his first year being a Chrome Crew intern. He does football, track, and soon to be in powerlifting. He does band and plays the saxophone and is in wind ensemble (which is the best ensemble). Xavier is a trainer and their job is to teach teachers and students how to use Google Classroom, their computer, Gmail etc. On Xaviers time alone he likes to listen to music while reading, on the phone with friends and playing video games. Xavier hopes he’ll get into a good college.

Amira

Technician

Amira is and 8th grader at OBMS, she only joined Chrome Crew this year but has been learning so much from taking apart Chromebooks to helping customers. Amira also likes to do activities outside and inside of school like being apart of the Golden Belle dance team, playing basketball and soccer and doing daily soccer training. Amira is a hard working person and likes the challenges that Chrome Crew brings, but also likes the fun laughs and conversations they have together. For her free time she likes sleeping, going to the mall from time to time, and hanging out with cats.

Addison

Public Relations

Addison is an 8th grader at OBMS.  She is on the Public Relations team and she loves helping people out.  Outside of school Addison plays club soccer for Dallas Surf. She likes to go to church with her friends and hang out with them.

Paulette

Trainer

Paulette is an 8th grader from OBMS. She is a trainer for Chrome Crew.  It’s her first year being in Chrome Crew and she’s very happy to be in this amazing crew. She loves being in Chrome Corner and loves helping teachers and students when they need help or when they have a problem. Paulette is also on the school’s drill team the Golden Belles. She was also on the school’s tennis team last year in 7th grade. Outside of school she loves to travel, spend time with friends and  family, and she loves going to concerts and going to the movies. 

Rhylan

Technician

Rhylan is an 8th grade student at OBMS. This is his first year in Chrome Crew as a technician. He is in athletics doing soccer, tennis, and cross country. He is a part of NJHS (National Junior Honor Society). He is in band and is in the Wind Ensemble as an Alto Saxophone. What he does during Chrome Crew is to spark up a conversation with one  of the other interns while he fixes Chromebooks or organizes the desk. In his free time he likes to go outside and play soccer with his friends, go on their go kart, and play video games.

Leila

Public Relations

Leila is an 8th grader at OBMS and in her second year of being Chrome Crew intern.  She loves meeting new people and helping out Mrs. Russell.  In school, she is on the cheer team and in NJHS. Outside of school, she does competitive dance. I enjoy watching tv and  hanging with my friends.  I am excited to see what the year brings

Jeaux

Trainer

Jeaux is a 7th grader, that likes to play football. He also likes to hang out with his family in his free time. He likes to play College Football 25 with his dad, and he also likes to play Road to Glory on College Football 25. Jeaux likes to be in Chrome Crew, because you can be yourself and learn how to talk to people and you get to learn how to fix computers. Chrome Crew so FUN!!!!  

Camille

Technician

Camille is an eighth grade student at OBMS. They are in their second year of being a technician in Chrome Corner. They are in athletics doing discus and shot put in track season, and are planning on doing powerlifting in high school, they play tenor saxophone in Wind Ensemble, and  are an NJHS member. In their free time they draw, write (a LOT), and play Dress to Impress. 

Eliza

Public Relations

Eliza is a 7th grader at OBMS. She is an editor and a music creator. In school, she is in advanced theatre, NJHS, Chrome Crew, and UIL. Outside of school, she loves to edit videos and create vocaloid music.

Sonia

Public Relations

Sonia is a 7th grader at OBMS. She is an artistic person, volleyball player and basketball player. She loves to hangout family, friends and more. Sonia is a PR for Chrome Crew.

Emmanuel

Public Relations

Emmanuel is a 7th grade student at OBMS. This is his second year at Ouida Bailey Middle School. He is in athletics and plays football. He is also Catholic and happy he loves Christ and God and Mary. He is also mexican. He was born in California in Orange County near Disneyland. This photo was taken Mexico.

 

Brennan

Technician

Brennan is in 7th grade and a Chrome Crew intern.  He is in football and loves doing physical activities. Some of his hobbies include fishing, hunting, and other outdoor activities. 

Natalie

Technician

Natalie is an 8th grader at OBMS. This is her second year in Chrome Crew.  She is one of the lead technicians but her official job is Head of Inventory. She loves horses and rides as often as she can. She has “her own” horse who is only a few months old named Baby Girl. She rides dirt bikes with her brother and her dad. Her favorite pets are her old raccoons Berry and Jerry. Her best friend is Julianna.

Jed is a 7th grader, and is a Chrome Crew intern from OBMS. He plays football, does band, and is in NJHS. He also likes to play basketball in his free time and practices football. 

Ashton

Ashton is a 7th grader from OBMS and a Chrome Crew intern. He works on Public Relations for the Chrome Crew.He plays football and is hoping to find another sport to do. He loves designing and making new things. He is funny and also good friend.
