Chrome Co’s mission is to provide teachers and students with Chromebook support in a timely and professional manner. Chrome Co began in 2020 as the Connected for Learning program expanded to Bobby Summers Middle School.

Deancarlos Castillo

Ticket Manager

Dean is an 8th grade Chrome Co member. He plays Baseball in Rockwall and runs Cross Country and Track for Summers Middle School. Dean enjoys playing baseball a lot and has been playing since he was 3 years old. When he grows up he wants to be a software engineer.

Clayton Musa

Staff Trainer

Clayton Musa is a staff trainer for ChromeCo. He is in 8th grade. He plays football for Bobby Summers Middle School as an offensive lineman. He likes to play video games like CFB 25 and Madden. When he grows up he wants to go to Texas A&M University and become a lawyer.

Jayden Lara

Staff Trainer

Jayden is a staff trainer and in the 8th grade. He enjoys playing sports like baseball, basketball, and football. For after school sports or activities, he does cross country and football. He wants to be a professional baseball player in the future.

Aida Shaw

Canva Specialist

Aida Shaw is in 7th grade. This is her first year in ChromeCo. She plays volleyball for SMS and she’s also trying out for track next semester. She like to draw, write and go on walks with her friends.She plays percussion in Wind Ensemble,in NJHS, does recycling club on Wednesdays, and she takesall honors classes. Oddly enough, her and Angela also have every single class together. She volunteers at the concession stand at the baseball field in Royse City, called Walker Hawk. She also plays softball there. She wants to be a nurse or a lawyer. She doesn’t consider herself funny, but people think she is – she’s just really sarcastic.

Angela Dam

Canva Specialist

Angela Dam is in 7th grade. Her hobbies include: Volleyball on A team for BSMS, Wind Ensemble Percussion, playing Piano, in NJHS, and she is in Civil Air Patrol. She is in all honors classes and gets really good grades. When she grows up, she wants to become an Air Force Pilot and fly a Northrop B-2 Spirit or any fighter jet. She has flown 2 planes called the Cessna 172R Skyhawk and is a Cadet Senior Airman.

Chase Wisetsarakool

Repair Manager

Chase is an 8th Grade Chrome Co member. Chase is also the only second year tech in Chrome Co. He plays football for the schools team and enjoys to ride around on his longboard some times.

Kaleb Monroe

Public Relations Manager

This is Kaleb Monroe, and he is proud to be a ChromeCo intern. His job or role is public relations which allows him to create all the exciting visuals around our school that you see! He uses Canva to bring to life everything from our website to our window displays. He truly believes this class is guiding him toward his goal in marketing. He gets to design a variety of posters and emails that share who ChromeCo is and offer helpful tips and tricks to the community. Lastly, he wanted to say that Mrs. Rice is an absolutely amazing teacher, and that they all appreciate and respect her more and more each day!

Owen Rogers

Technology-Youtube

Owen Rogers is a tech in 7th grade. He is one of two interns that create and edit videos for the ChromeCo Youtube Channel. He enjoys creating videos, drawing, playing soccer, running, animating, and editing videos. This is his first year of Chrome Co. He has played piano for 2 years. He wants to be an author, illustrator, or technician when he is an adult.

Terry Williams

Technology-Youtube

Terry plays football, basketball, soccer, and pole vaults. This is his first year in Chrome Co. His hobbies are playing sports, hanging out with family, and playing video games. He’s been playing clarinet for the BSMS Wind Ensemble band for 3 years, and is hoping to get even better at the instrument. He likes to watch movies sometimes but would rather hang out with his friends. He helps with YouTube videos and canva slides for the TVs inside the school.

Joseph Camacho

Technician-Tech Trainer

Also known as Joey,Joseph Camacho is in 8th grade. He competes in professional motocross. In school he plays the bassoon in the Wind ensemble. He is kind and likes to make people laugh and smile. Joey has multiple hobbies – he builds legos and makes models of ships planes and cars. When Joey grows up he wants to be an electrician and welder. This is just a little about our amazing technician.

Sophia Cryer

Technician

Sophia is a 7th grader working as a Technician in Bobby Summers Middle School. This is her first year in ChromeCo. She is a member of NJHS and is in honors science and honors reading. She is mainly seen enjoying reading books/manga, collecting pokemon cards, watching anime, listening to music, and golfing. She also likes to go to car shows or Air shows when she and her dad has time to and play video games.

Elissa McMillin

Trainer – Trainer Manager

Elissa is a 7th grader at Bobby Summers Middle School. She plays volleyball A team for the school and will be playing basketball also. She is in NJHS for the school and likes volunteering all around. She plays club volleyball outside of school and likes to stay pretty active. When she grows up she wants to be a professional sports photographer.

Lily Pena

PR – Canva Specialist

Liliana is in her first year in Chrome Co. Her team is PR and she helps create designs in Canva as well as creating videos for our TikTok. Her other school activities are cheer, choir, cross country, and NJHS. Outside of school her hobbies are competitive cheer at United Elite and acting. She is on a Senior Level 3 team with UE.

Evelyn Arledge

PR – Canva Specialist

Evelyn is in the 7th grade and this is her first year in Chrome Co. She is on the cheer team and plays trumpet in Wind Ensemble. She loves to make dog treats for her dogs and hang out and play with them. Evelyn’s job is a Canva Specialist and she helps create and edit videos for our TikTok. Evelyn wants to be a police officer and be a part of the K9 unit.

Cameron McPherson

Technician – Inventory Manager

Cameron McPherson is an 8th grader at Bobby Summers Middle School. He works as a technician and inventory manager for Chrome Co. He enjoys reading and writing and wants to get a job when he gets older. He plays clarinet in the Wind Ensemble Band.

Amelia English

Trainer – Staff Trainer 

Amelia English is an 8th grade chrome co Internern at bobby summers. Amelia’s favorite sports are Cheer, pole vault , and basketball. She has been cheering for 8 years. One of Amelia’s favorite hobbies is baking/cooking with her dad. She loves making Pumpkin pie, Tamales, and banana nut bread. In Amelia’s free time she loves shopping and playing with her  gecko named Harold. When Amelia grows up she wants to be a nicu nurse and attend Texas tech or Alabama state university. She also want to cheer in college.

 

Laura Rice

Innovative Learning Specialist

Laura is starting her 11th year in education and second year as the Innovative Learning Specialist at Bobby Summers Middle School. She previously taught numerous CTE courses at the middle school level. In her role as the ILS, she oversees Chrome Co, manages the Chromebook inventory and provides professional development for the faculty. Laura enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Ronnie, and their pets. She loves taking road trips and exploring National Parks. She is always excited to serve her campus and help teachers. If she was not a teacher, she would be a wildlife photographer.
